Kathleen Wood is the President and COO of Raising Cane’s – an award winning 31 unit chicken finger restaurant chain located in Baton Rouge, LA. Raising Cane’s is focused on being the world wide brand of for quality chicken fingers, great crew and cool culture. Today, Raising Cane’s operates both company and franchise restaurants in five states and in a variety of locations including colleges campuses, suburban, urban and mall locations.

Prior to joining Raising Cane’s, Ms. Wood served as a consultant to the company for over six years and was actively involved in the development of Raising Cane’s strategic planning and organizational development processes to support both corporate and franchise growth. Additionally, she was instrumental in the architecture of the corporate infrastructure and systems development for the companies operations, human resources, marketing, training, recruiting and new store openings. Wood will continue to work with Raising Cane’s founder and CEO Todd Graves and the Cane’s team to grow the business through company-owned, franchised and pillar program locations.

Most recently Ms. Wood was a co-Founder and the first President of
The Elliot Leadership Institute. The Elliot Leadership Institute is not-
for-profit organization dedicated to development and advancement of
executives in the foodservice and hospitality industries. The Institute
is focused specifically on supporting the development of Multi-Unit,
Senior and Top management executives for chains, franchise groups
and independent operators.

Ms. Wood was also the co-Founder and President of Elliot Solutions, LLC, since 1997, the premier consulting firm for growing and emerging hospitality organizations. Elliot Solutions was committed to providing consulting services that included: strategic planning, organizational development, executive consulting and infrastructure architecture. Elliot Solutions worked directly with leading organizations like American Express, PepsiCo, Carlson Restaurants Worldwide, Marriott Corporation, Church’s Chicken, Corrections Corporation of America (the largest private operator of corrections facilities in the United States), DigitalDNA (a division of, McAlister’s Deli, P.F. Chang’s and Famous Dave’s.
